Visa Options

How to bring your Filipina fiancée or wife to your country.

🇺🇸 K-1 Fiancée Visa (USA)

The Most Common Path for Americans

  • You must have met in person within 2 years
  • • Processing time: 8-14 months (varies by case)
  • • Cost: ~$2,000+ (filing fees, medical, flights)
  • • She must marry you within 90 days of arrival
  • • Can apply for work authorization after arrival

The K-1 is the fastest way to bring her to the US. After marriage, she'll apply for Adjustment of Status to become a permanent resident.

🇪🇺 Schengen Visitor Visa (EU)

For Europeans (Germany, UK, etc.)

  • • Tourist visa for visits (90 days within 180 days)
  • • For marriage: Apply for family reunification visa
  • • Requirements vary by country
  • • Generally requires proof of relationship and income

European paths are more complex. Research your specific country's requirements. Germany, UK, and Australia each have different processes.
